Who lives in Poughkeepsie area?

I'm gonna be moving to Poughkeepsie area, and was wondering if anyone on this forum is from there?

I'm in pk, there's a weekly wed night meet at the home depot in Fishkill, swing through sometime! I'm usually there around 8 or 9pm in the VO 1M.

I used to be in Pough town. I am now in highland, basically just over the mid hudson bridge. 5 min and I am back in Pough Town. Its a very nice area if you like the outdoors and such. Just be careful in the city of Poughkeepsie. Some bad areas.

Oh really? Do you have any info on the townhouses located at inwood lake?

Welcome! I went to college in Po-town and go up there every once in a while. Just stay out of the ghetto of the CITY of Poughkeepsie and you'll be fine lol. When are you moving there?

lol IMO right around here :

From what I gather from my friend who's a PK cop, a good amount of shootings happen between the Mansion & Pershing and Mansion & Smith area

You'll usually be able to tell just by driving through where the ghetto is. Outside of that it's not too bad.

Weather is nice, winters can be brutal sometimes but has been mild lately. Lots to do since we're a short drive/train ride into NYC or CT. Nightlife is so-so but that's what the city is for

Good driving roads nearby, check out Bear Mtn, Storm King Hwy, Hawks Nest, and a bunch of others.

Where abouts are you looking to move to?

I saw couple of houses im interested in a place called "inwood lake".
How's that area?

Inwood lake is good... how old are you? Inwood Lake is literally 2mins away from Marist College aka a college where there is a 60/40 girls/guys split, and the girls are usually hott upper middle class. Have fun

north of 9G the neighborhoods are a bit nicer, Inwood Lake is good
