yea i think they look pretty damn close to oem, and awesome quality. when you factor in the price, these depos are a no brainer.

as for cb111111 just shut up already. you are just being negative and completely malicious its not 'oh you are misinformed so heres a helpful hint' its 'heres 1000 posts why you are a stupid poser. i know that the color temp is purely the color of the light output. i KNOW THIS. the white color seems brighter, i'm not saying its outputing more lumens or anything so just relax

all im saying is that they seem to have a purer white color as opposed to the 4300k. maybe its a icy blue effect because its close to the purple blue. you can see here its WHITE and i picked it for that reason.

besides what are you the xenon police? you gona report everyone who doesn't comply with FMVSS 108??? ohhhh nooo! this thread is supposed to be an informative DIY and i'll be damned if it reverts into one of those retarted bickering threads that goes on for 20 pages.

I appreciate your input, so ok we all know 4300k is the legal limit THANKS.

Congrats - your rants just prove that you're at the same level of the Civic driver with the fart can exhaust and the purple headlights.

I'm done with this thread.

I had Xenon on my E46 and miss them. I made some steps for an eventual conversion and got even blasted by some morons in another section for just considering something else than OEM, only asking for references. As much as I like the Xenon in the night, I much prefer the look of the halogen headlamps on day time.

* ducking out *.

(nonetheless it is great to have real alternatives to OEM. Good find.)

I did not like the way the rings were stuck onto the projector housing that looked poorly built, you could see the internals (wires and such) between the housing and projector shroud, as well as the fact that it did not come with highbeam or turn signal bulbs and the HID kit looked poor. I dont mean to diss the OP, it was a great write up and they look sick in the pics, but up close im a bit of a stickler.

i hear what you are saying. when i bought my car it killed me that it didnt have xenons. BMWs always have the nicest headlights, and the 4 circle headlight design is iconic to the 3 series. I felt like the halogens were a complete abomination and killed the front end of the e90. the lci halogens are absolutely beautiful, but i couldnt get myself to shell out 800 bucks just for angel eyes and still have halogens. The other option is dropping 1500 for oem xenons, which is not really an option. thats why these felt like such a godsend. the quality is far superior.

if the ebay headlights are a 2/10, and oems are 10/10, these are easily an 8. the price is the nail in the coffin. just my .02

I get ya man, i got lucky with the Lci's and bought them both about a month apart (scavenging on ebay), and my conversion set i got for a very modest price, under 750, because of a broken tab...but nothing a little JB weld cant take care of

anyway, im glad you like them dude, your the projector90 spokesman at the moment

the only thing preventing me from hopping on these is the fact that they're the euro style & lack the amber corner reflector (i'm apparently the only person in the world who actually likes them)

does anyone have any idea of how i might be able to convert the headlight with maybe my OEM amber reflector?

you got blasted bc you asked our opinion on cheap ebay lights, everyone said they were shitty and to get OEM or wait for depo, and you said "how do you know these are the same brands as the shitty ones? you guys are ignorant fools -- these could be different."

well, i remember challenging you to buy those shitty ebay lights to prove me wrong, and i see you still havent gotten them.

i think you may be the only person who likes amber, but maybe you could put vitex ambergone over these. putting a smoked one over the clear would give it a real grey smokey look, unlike the browning over amber

angel eyes stay on with the corner bulbs or headlights. would probably have to run a vista DRL harness or something similar to have AE DRL

Glad I found this DIY and saw the DEPOs installed on a car. I'll def get these instead of going the OEM route and trying to retrofit Xenons from a boneyard.

Your 'challenge' is totally uncalled for and retarded because the purpose of this thread was to get references and if positive, I was interested to buy. No reference, no buy. It was *not* to get generic answers from Mr-know-it-all jerks with attitude problems who never saw them in real.
