I'm only guessing here but its possible someone needed one and stole yours. Once again ... I'm only guessing here.

muthafarkers!

The caps are cheap to buy, AFAIK you have to spray them though?

Buy a cap for $15 and get a spray can mixed up to your paint code and DIY? Or alternatively trawl ebay/wreckers for one in the correct colour?

Sheesh, that is low.. I doubt that it fell.. lucky it's a cheap fix. Some guy that used to visit our local shopping plaza frequently hit my car from the rear, scratched the bumper and ran away without leaving any notes. I saw him hit and run from a camera but was unable to spot the plates. This regular guy that used to come to the plaza almost everyday where I worked never returned again lol. I looked for his 5 series around the block for weeks. The douche never returned with that car again. So i left my revenge for karma.

Yeah I got it off a dealership $90 painted
But they made a mistake on the blue, so I now have 2 covers, ones an exact match the other is slightly off...so Ive left the slightly off one on!

ugg biggest hassle. i lost a front and rear covers. the most annoying thing is the not so much the cost its the color matching of the paint.

The alternative is to go with a race hook, that was a fad a few years ago...
