19x8.5 +30 w/ 245/30/19?? possible? ---------

i am trying to minimize understeer by keeping the tire widths as close as possible between the front and rear.

i'm going to be running 305 out back, and although it's only a 10mm difference between 235 and 245, every bit counts.

conti dw seem to be sold out everywhere, so i'm likely going with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. not sure how the sidewalls run on these (square or round).

so, can i make 245/30/19 happen in the front? perhaps the plastic on the fenders need to be shaved down?

edit: vehicle is e92

My friend has a E92 lowered on H&R sports and is currently running 245/35/19 on the front with no issues. You'll be fine.

My bad. They are Miro 111 19x8.5 ET-35 Nexen 245/35/19 on the front.

Oh! I totally did not notice your offsets were +30. You need to talk to one of the wheel vendors. They should assist you. My bad!

Should be fine not lowered. Could be a little close if lowered.

What are the wheel specs for running 305s in the rear?

zoeb told me they're coming out with 11" wheel, but that's 2 months from now

I'd be more worried about the 305 in the rear than the 245 in the front.

Are you thinking about going with 245/30 and 305/25?

sorry, had my tire radiuses all screwed up. The correct dimensions are 245\35\19 305\30\19.

Unfortunately I may be leaning more toward 295/30 in the rear with lower offsets after reading how crappy the car will probably handle with such a large stagger. Seems the tires I want dont come in the 305 size I need anyway.

Mind telling me what you did in the rear to clear the 305 or even 295s?

Did you roll and stretch the fender?

I want to run the widest wheel/tire in the rear also, but I have an e90.....

TIA

So have you done some kind of widebody job on the rear fenders?

The widebody Technik e92 actually had 245/30/19 and 305/25/19.

Mhm. In the process of it. Custom fab out of sheet metal.

Kinda rushing to pick up wheels and tires because running my stock 189s will look embarrassing...

I wonder how the car handled with a 60mm stagger on the technik widebody.

No, problem daily driving it. Haven't tracked it or taken to the canyons, so Idk how it'll handle there. I'm currently running a 235/35/19 in the front and I fucking hate it! Rubs like a bitch and has shaved down the inside. I'm thinking of going 215/35 or back to my 245s this week.

Lowered, but not slammed. Idk how in the world you're gonna pull off that 305 in the rear, but I'll be standing by.

may end up with 295 because the conti DW i wanted are sold out, plus i'm worried about massive understeer.

leaning toward Ultrac Sessanta tires, but i'm getting mixed reports as to whether they run skinny or wider. one guy said his 295s measured like 275s

may go with ad08 as a third choice but the road noise complaints on tirerack are making me
