Cheap spring install places ?
Hey guys
I have a 2000 MK4 golf, i m planning on getting some H&r springs in the near future, but i m getting the same price quotes from shops as i was when i was looking for my brothers e90 335. I mean i looked at the suspension itself and it looks 10x easier to change than my brothers, but still the same price. So i was wondering if you guys had any hookup's with shops or places that you have installed springs at for cheaper than average or at least a decent price thats not 175-200$. I'd greatly appreciate it Thanks |

Me and my friend are more than willing to install it on our own....we just dont have proper equipment to do it -.-.......I asked my mechanic if i could use his lift and he said he couldn't due to insurance purposes (understandable).
But i ll check out the rising star motors....thanks guys ! |

If you're too cheap to pay someone to do it, then DIY. If you dont have the tools, then buy some. This way if you ever need to install springs on another car, you can do it yourself instead of being in the same dilemma of a) not wanting to pay, or b) not having the tools. |

I got quoted 400$ to refinish my rims, when i did it on my own and it cost me 50$ with all the materials. All i m saying is that, like dp installation for n54 engines...some people got it installed for 300$ while others got it done for 80$, i m just looking for cheaper alternatives thats all |
