Oil Leaks / Waterpump Connection
I had my waterpump replaced a little over a year ago. Shortly there after the OFH started leaking a small amount of oil. Now the VCG and oil pan gasket are leaking (we're talking ~1qt every 8-10k mi).
Is there any correlation to any of these gaskets causing the others to fail? Seems plausible that they would be connected. It's a positive pressure system and I'm sure boost creates more pressure...idk. Just spit-balling. Has anyone put any thought in to a connection? Before I get flamed, I did and didn't come up with an answer that connects any theories or backs anything up.

Look at your valve cover, more specifically where its leaking..If you have oil on the valve cover..right around the eccentric shaft motor then the valve cover had failed and will need to be replaced
