Nice one-handed fix! How many miles did you have on the original end links?

Yea,I have 54,000,but they have lasted much longer if I had not changed the suspension, although some people recommend change them about 50,000.

Hello Fellas,

This is a SIMPLE DIY and you can save some money. I bought the parts on
FCP Euro for $49 total shipped and knocked this out like in 15 minutes. Meyle HD.

See pics for the old and new, the car definitely needed it (97K miles). The OEM had the rubber boot punctured and the bolt had to much play.

One observation, the OEM ones were stamped with made in China, considering its a German car what was BMW thinking??? I would have considered just adding Meyle from the get go! Oh well this is how they make there money $$$

lol @ Meley.

Agreed though, these Meyle HD end links are stout. No need to wait for the OEM pieces to wear out; just swap these in during your next oil change, etc.

This maybe a stupid question, but how can you tell left, right and top and bottom? I just installed these. Left and right look identical and they look like they can be installed every which way.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
