So I purchased this Hi Fi trunk mount AMP and was wondering if anyone can identify the output power and/or which model amp i.e. Premium HiFi, HiFi, Logic 7?

It says HiFi in the label, so it is HiFi.

A premium (Logic7 or Harman Kardon) OEM amp will say "Top HiFi".

So I've just been informed I should've ordered a JL Audio XD600/6 six channel amp as opposed to new HU and HiFi amp. Can anyone reccomend if this is something compatable and provide excellent results:

I traded a VW Jetta GLI for my 328i and the factory unit sucks. I added an aftermarket XM receiver routed through th usb port and now it really sounds like ass. My VW's factory Bose system kicked ass, I can't beleive BMW audio is so lousy for such a bad ass car. So I want a kick ass system however I need to get there. Amp is a must! Speakers are also a must! So Im trying to build a better sound system in a nutshell.

You need to start identifying which is the OEM system installed from factory in this car.

Anything else is guessing and a waste of effort.

I'll pull my amp and HU and get the P/N's off em and take pics for reference. Then sounds like your the go to guy for audio. Hopefully you'll be kind enough to sell your custom harness me if needed.

There is no need of posting P/N.

Just take your VIN here www.bmwvin.com and look for the sound system code SA676 or SA677. I think that you need to slow down a bit and search quite some. Too many threads with just confusion without stating the most basic audio information about your car.
