For this price, you must have welded a straight pipe through the resonator box or cats.

Ding Ding Ding!!! Removed the resonator, but I have since put it back. While the sound is 'nice', its not quite what I was looking for. Sadly, the car is quieter now, with the resonator installed, but the tone is better and more livable.

While there is nothing wrong with the mod, I was hoping for more of a "coupe" type sound which I didnt achieve. At lower rpms, it kinda has the sound of a motorboat... its not throaty enough.

Its cool, was a nice experiment with no harm done and not much money spent

Maybe someone will hear this and find it something they would like to have.

I would try deleting secondary cats and keeping the stock resonator box. Look for Mr 5s project.

Yes, Ive been keeping an eye on Mr. 5s project. I dont think Im hardcore enough to delete anything that would impact emissions, but Im all for a good axle back mod.

I had Eisenmann Race on my E90 325, but Im not sure what to do for this car, and the idea of forking out 1600$ for a muffler drives me insane

I wish I could have heard your car in person before you did the piping mods, Im sure that would have motivated me to get Eisenmann again, or maybe even Bastuck.
