EOI for the Winton Funday on 11 Dec

I went yesterday with a few members from E90post to Haunted Hills hill climb track day. (Event was organised my Bimmer Club Australia).

After having so much fun at Haunted Hills yesterday, I am really keen on tracking my car again at the nearest opportunity, luckily Winton is holding a Fun day on Sunday the 11th of December. They're usually around $65 for the day, which is pretty cheap for a track day.

Here's a link to the Fun day rules, price and dates (11 Dec last event for the year);

http://wintonraceway.com.au/drive/fun-days/

Just sussing out interest, to see if anyone from here would like to come along and join me for the day at Winton. I'll be heading there from Melbourne.

Leaving melb on the 10th... have to wait until the next one!

Just a note of warning for others... was chatting with some of the regulars when I was at Winton last and they were saying during summer... make sure you have a fire extinguisher, especially if there has been a lack of rain for a little while... the grassy central region can light up very easily on contact with hot exhausts if you come off!

Aghhh unlucky, I'll definitely be going to the next one, if me and the car made it back from this one in one piece lol

Thanks for the tip about the fire extinguisher, if I figure out a way to mount it properly, I'll be bringing one. It think it has to be properly mounted to a bracket, and not just left loose under the passenger seat, or else the inspectors won't allow it on track.

Bump!!

C'mon guys, you didn't spend all this money on your Beamer so you can park it at home and stare at it all day!

It's called the ultimate driving machine for a reason, come to Winton on 11 Dec, and give your old girl some wild spanking around corners! Lol
