Im posting this for my friend Russ who is the owner of Octave in Orlando, Fl.

Here is Sean's 2008 BMW 335i. He was looking to upgrade the Logic7 system with something that was more fitting to the performance of the car. (a quick note. some pics were accidentally deleted so some aspects of the install were not captured, like the main power run, audio tapping at the OEM amplifier but I decided to post what I have).





Starting with the doors I did a comparison of OEM to aftermarket. Focal K2 100 KRS are replacing the OEM equipment.













Plexiglas mounting plates were fabricated to utilized the OEM mounting points.







Both doors received the same treatment. Foam gaskets on both sides of the of the speaker.

Next up were the tweeters. The tweeters dropped right into the OEM locations without any modifications.

After that the wiring of the doors was done. With a little modification wire can be ran through the molex plug.

Passenger side done the drive's side was next.

Doors done wiring up the crossovers and hooking up the under seat woofers was on the to do list. With the mids and highs a comparison was done.

With the front components wired up the wires were ran to the back. Zip ties every 6".

To let the subwoofer breathe into the cabin a hole was routered into the rear center console. Grille cloth covers to hole to give an OEM appearance.





Front now done all the work was centered on the rear starting with the subwoofer enclosure. The enclosure houses a Focal Polyglass 27 V2 and was filled with Black Hole Stuff enclosure fill.





The subwoofer enclosure is mounted in 3 locations using rivet nuts to secure it to the car.

With the enclosure in and mounted the amplifier rack can go in. A Mosconi 6to8 for OEM integration and sound processing ran to two Mosconi AS 100.4 amplifiers provide the signal end of things.











Now that the amplifiers are wired up the trims panels can go on. Some LEDs offer a nice accent for nighttime viewing.
