Quick audio noob question! + questions

So I know my car is bone stock, as in no packages. But my friend who also has an e92(335i with a few more packages, dont know if it has HiFi or L7), says my sound system is louder than his...

I bought my car from BMW dealer a year ago, and it was a lease return.

So im wondering how i could find out if it is an upgraded system.

And want to increase bass (not really wanting a sub box or to use the n52 extra trunk) and can I add a better EQ system to the car?

If you have a center speaker on the dash you have logic 7

If you have no center speaker but tweeter pods on the doors you have hifi

If you have neither you have the base system.

If your wanting more bass you should look into adding some sws8's and a separate amp to power them.

thanks bro, BSW system is running in the 500 dollar range right? any other alternative ways?

I would recommend (as would many others) to get in touch with either VP Electricity of MusicarNW or Technic from the board. They are highly regarded on the forum and can help you put together a nice system without breaking the bank. I originally looked at the offerings from BSW, but ultimately went with a setup that Musicar has tailored specifically to my musical tastes and my E90.
