Vanguard exhaust post-install rattle/exhaust sound

Hi all,

After I got the Vanguard installed, I noticed hearing a rattling sound posted in the video below I took tonight. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Wasn't present prior to last week when I had stock pipping and Eisenmann Race section 3.

I compared the idling of my car to the car in the video below. My car at idle almost sounds as if it has an exhaust leak somewhere. You hear the "bub bub bub bub bub" sound. Is this normal with the Vanguard? The car in the video below, it sounds smoother. Is it me or does mine sound a bit different? I also have AR catless Dps.

I recognize that sound. I would check the clamp connection between the downpipes and turbos, that the O2 sensors are screwed in completely, and that the connection between the Vanguard and the Downpipes is tight.

I also have Vanguard + AR downpipes and it sounds nothing like that

hmm, thanks for your input, I'll ask the installer to have another look at it. Do you have any sound clips?

I can get you one tomorrow. But it only sounds like a deeper idle than stock.

It's definitely an install issue. The Vanguard should not sound like that. Something isn't plugged in or connected right.

The bolts that connect the downpipes, gaskets, and Vanguard flanges can be very difficult to tighten without the right tools. If there is a leak there then there can be excessive rattle noises and the car will sound like an idling Cigarette boat. Broop broop broop.
