All steel rotors rust within minutes of exposure to water. My rotors look like that right after a car wash. The second you drive and hit the brakes once, the rust is gone. Notice the pictures w/ the rims mounted on the car. Just a short drive from outside onto that alignment rack and most of the rust is gone.

They look nice, but that rig needs spacers, a drop, and amber reflector delete ASAP! I'm interested to see how that paints holds up. As others have said might chip like crazy.

I've never understood why people bother with gunmetal -- just don't wash your wheels and they will look "powder-coated" in a lovely shade of gray.

Nice paint job. Looks thick and creamy and in my opinion much more pop than powder coating. You painted it so you can probably touch it up any chips or scrapes you may get-- you might not be able to do that so easily with powder coat, which btw do get nicks and scrapes as well.

What mario k said about the roundels-- change 'em. Don't know if they even make them or where you could get them if they do, but a darker blue and black or even a black and silver would look sick.

Looks nice. Why is everyone worried about paint on wheels? Most factory and aftermarket wheels are painted. As long as the prep is good and the clear was done right, they should hold up as well as any other wheel.
Powder coating might be durable, but it's a bitch to keep clean.

I like it, it looks like a darker version of a hyper black. Looks great with the color.

It looks good. I'm hoping to get mine powder coated, I'm very limited in my painting skills. Not sure if I would be up to the challenge of trying it myself. lol
