2014 S class interior spied

http://www.autoblog.com/2013/01/29/2...-in-spy-shots/

I like how Benz makes the S class special unlike BMW where the interior is ~5% different than the 5 series.

Quite nice! Very class.

I agree, the new SL, and seemingly this new S class have more 'special' interiors than the rest of the line-up.

I'm a fan of the way Benz is going! (Although I'm still not a fan of the floaty steering and handling, even with sport suspension activated and sport (or manual) mode initiated).

Not really a fan of MB but I agree the S-class always has this top of the class feel comparing to its competitor. For a large luxury sedan, you can't go wrong with a S class. I used to like the 7er because its more of a car that driver can enjoy while with all the luxuries. However, if I am in that market, my choice would now be the A8

I just saw the S8 in person (inside and out)... what a car. Stunning to look at, and great performance at a price lower than the S63/S65 if I'm not mistaken

Agreed. I'd go for an S8 if I was in the market for a class of that size.

Those buttons look a bit small. Maybe they are redundant controls and everything is via the touch screen?

I guess BMW and Mercedes are about to get into a war over the number of ipad looking screens they can put in their cars.

Looks extremely dated and pretty bad, actually. I don't like the direction Mercedes has gone over these last couple of years.

They had a beautiful car with the R230 SL (2008-2012), and they ended up making the exterior absolutely hideous with the new 2012 SL.

The exterior of the new S class probably looks fine, but the interior is pretty disappointing. Looks like something out of the 80s.

Except for the new SL. Benz new design language is amazing. The current CLS is one of best looking cars on the road.

Yeah I'll agree with that.

The new SL seems to be an exception, for some reason. Why the hell did they make the nose so bulbous (side view) on the new SL? The previous generation SL was so sleek. What a shame.

Not a fan of the CLS or the goofy LED accents on it, I'd take a 6 GC long before that melted biscuit. The E is terrible, pre or post facelift, the GLK just looks goofy now and the SL appears to be MB's attempt to out ugly the previous 6er. I don't have high hopes for the new S Class either.

It's about damn time they have had the same interior since 2006! In Eight years they should have something that looks better then that ugly unfinished thing.

I spot some of the Bentley-RR interior elements in there.

All looks pretty nice apart from the wheel, which is odd looking, steering wheels need at least 3 spokes.

How about Citroen's one-spoke steering-wheel?
