Spacers on E92 Xdrive Msport Stock Ride Height

I looking for a way to improve the look of my stance hopefully without having to drop the car. I was wondering if anyone might have pictures of an E92 Xdrive with spacers at stock ride height, preferably with the 193M wheels.

They wouldn't. I'm trying to see if someone can show me what the car looks like with spacers at STOCK ride height. It seems like the only pictures of spacers I can find are on cars that are also lowered.

Do you guys think I could get away with 15mm front, 20mm rear? I found a good deal on a couple sets of H&R spacers with bolts.

I'm running 16x7 stock wheels with the stock 205/50/16 contis.

I have a stock 335XI with 15mm's on the rear, I think a 20 would look nice. also depends on if you are running run flats. i feel the run flats look much wider with spacers on.

My images are too large to attach , however I can text em to you if you would like .

I do also have a pair of eibach spacers 15mm that I used for 1000 miles only, with extended lugs. 90$+shipping

I've had spacers (12mm front/15mm rear) on my 2011 335d M Sport for about 90 days but I'm having them removed.

1. Throw extra dirt on the sides and back of the car because of the way the tires stick out.
2. Cause the tires to rub the inside of the fenders, EVEN AFTER having the fenders rolled !
3. Some tire shops (Discount Tire) will not replace tires with spacers installed.
4. Causes extra "floatiness" because the effective spring rate is reduced by ~5%.
5. Did not notice any benefits regarding reduced understeer or reduced body roll.

I'm happy with the way they LOOK, but all the other negatives outweigh that benefit IMHO.

E92 have a chassis brace that runs from center tunnel area back to rear subframe mounts.

OEM is a thin flat plate with flat bars running back in 'Y' formation - Hotchkis Brace is heavier steel plate with tubular arms running back in an 'X' formation.

Hotchkis brace is no longer available, but you may find one FS on eBay or forums...

The OEM brace is available as a retrofit that works on E90 to add rigidity to the chassis & possibly improve handling. Includes the brace & brackets (which E90 do not have from factory). Available here:

Spacers!

I was thinking about staggering the tires, like the 225 / 255 on these pics... Since the xDrive has a somewhat rear bias, do you get any appreciable traction? More (or less) over steer? Just got Dinan stage 2 (sold my e90 M3 for the 335iX and needed a little kick in the pants to make me feel better about the loss).

I have an E92, so it came with the OEM brace, but I wish the Hotchkis brace was still available, seem very sturdy. Did you notice a difference after you installed?

Hard to tell as I also installed M3 Rear Wishbones/Guide Arms at the same time...

Just wanted to update that I installed 12mm spacers up front and 15mm spacers in the rear and am very happy with the look. I don't think I need to drop it to improve the stance, the spacers accomplished what I was looking for. Its much meatier looking and the wheel gap is less apparent. I have noticed that the steering feels a little less direct, but that might just be my imagination looking for something wrong.
