These are going to stir up some shit with business for Vishnu and RB's. The prices for stage 2 are awesome and if stage 3 can put down 550+whp without meth, for same price as RB's, you'll see a lot of guys getting these.

I need to replace my WG's (now) and likely turbos in a few years; so, I'd be looking at this for next year!!

The more competition The better! If Vargas comes out swinging and actually provide great results with these turbos they will hold a good nitch in the N54 upgraded turbo market for sure..

stage 1 and 2 are. Stage 2 is comparable to the likes of RB turbos where the turbine is also upgraded and not just clipped. along with upgraded wg flapper/rod.

stage 3 are fully upgraded disco potatoes, if you will. they require new manifolds etc.
Why do people keep saying disco potato? Disco's are a very specific model aren't they?

Yes, a Disco Potato is specifically a GT2860RS.

I had one on my 92 MR2 and it was a torque monster on 2.0L's... made ~350whp which was good enough for 11's on that car.

Two of them might be a bit laggy for a 3.0L, but certainly 600whp+

With the stage III wont you need to upgrade internals as well?
Also would the stage III be a straight bolt on?

would need solid proof, would also need to know if these are made as good, would need to know if they will last as long. I want to see 550 Hp without meth on a Dyno, some logs perhaps. I am going with a proven product on the track, on Dyno ect. I emailed the makers of these turbos for info and didn't even get a response back......Rob beck called me and answered my questions, to me that speaks volume especially if you have a problem with a turbo or something. I am not trying to rain on your perade or anything....I hope you enjoy those and get long life out of them!

I doubt stage 3 will be the same price as stage 3's...

And nothing against Rob AT ALL because he is a pioneer who explorered territory long before anyone else on THIS platform but the Vargas company has way more resources and experience

uhm, stage 3 is gonna cost more than the current ST kit. the turbos retail for over $1500 each. at least 1k each mani. probably custom down pipes etc. I'm guessing at least $7k.

When all is said and done, if this can be sold for $5-6k with all necessary components, I'd say that's a good deal.
I mean....hell, we're talking 600-900hp without meth, at least 600whp to wheels, that's an awesome DD!!

We'll see after some dynos and real world #'s.

5-6k would be be a really good deal. ST sales would suffer greatly I would think.
