Vinylex is a bit greasy. I used to use on my leatherette. My fiance uses leather cleaning wipes for the couches in our living room so I usually just quickly wipe my interior down with them and then put on some 303 aerospace protectant. Great stuff! I like how it's non-toxic with no chemicals and has SPF 40 to block out UV rays and prevent fading. Leaves a very mild shine and is not greasy. I usually order it off ebay. Cheapest prices I've found so far.

To remove dirt I use a mix of Woolite and water (like on the door handles, door kick areas etc.) then I rinse with a moist towel to remove any Woolite that remains behind. I like both 303 Aero Prot. and Einszett Cockpit Premium to dress trim. Both are not glossy and you can even wipe it down a second time with a dry towel if it went on a little heavier or to remove any sheen you don't like.

You can find 303 OTC but I've never seen the Einszett products locally.

einszett Cockpit will be your answer to clean and protect your dash and door panels.

It will clean up and provide you an OEM matte finish.

no horrible scents it does what it does. This is our best selling product at Detailer's Domain.

I haven't tried the 1Z, but they make excellent products. I use their glass polish and it's great. I've also used their paint when fixing curb rash.

I use 303 Aerospace and think it's great. It's not so easy to find OTC. The Meg's QID is very good, but has less UV protection. It's easy to find OTC. Light clean smell and matte finish.

for those with the wood trims, what do you use to prevent "swirls"?

Anyone tried 303 Cleaner and spot remover for the dash or door handles? My fiance uses it for the carpets in our home and loves it. Does a great job but just wondering if it would be ok for the leather or leatherette? I do use it on the carpets in the car as well and along with the drill attachment carpet brush that I ordered from Chemical Guys, light carpets come out quite impressive. Only asking because my grandfathers Mercury Milan with light tan interior is pretty dirty and wanted to see if anyone uses it on anything other the carpet before I use it on his car. My car's interior is black and my fiance's X5 is Truffle and black two-tone and they don't really show dirt.

+1 the BMW vinyl care is about $7-8 and it is amazing, the best I have ever used for vinyl and the smell is a concentrated version of the BMW new car smell, amazing stuff, will not use anything else on non-leather surfaces having tried it

I know its not technically a cleaner, but to keep my interior dustfree between cleanings, I use a Swiffer duster and it works awesome. One pass over everything and the car looks great and it only takes like 30 seconds.

I have been looking at that Turtle wax and have not heard anyone I know mention it. I'll have to pick some up tomorrow and try it.

Thanks
