Auto Tint in ft Lauderdale ?

Hi does anyone know of a good and reputable place to get my E90 tinted in the fort Lauderdale area or close by ? Also, if anyone has had any experience with the whole moleskin installation to prevent tint scratches. I called tint land in Fort Lauderdale and they want to charge me $50 per door to install it, not even including the tint !

I have a jet black e90 with beige interior was wondering what you guys also thought about 35% all around. I want the car to look clean and classy but not too light and to help with that crazy florida heat. Any pics would help of similar cars with same exterior/interior tinted will help!

I want to chime in about the mole skin. Through e90post I found a diy of installing the mole skin and I also went onto the website that sells it. Tintprotector.com. Anyway I bought the mole skin and when I went to do the install, my door molding already had felt from the factory so I didn't even need that stuff...so check before you buy it!

I am also thinking of 35% all around. I don't like tint that is too dark, plus I still want to see at night haha

Superior Tint in Boca did a great job for me, and lifetime warranty on 3M tints. Bout to take it in and have it redone actually, got vertical lines on all 4 windows in my e90. The rear has held up just fine though.

Here is the thing. The word Moleskin is generic. There are many places that make moleskin. 99% of them are for homes. Lining window seals.

There is only one manufacturer of moleskin for automobile tint use. That's Tint Protector Moleskin.

Most tint shops use the cheap generic home moleskin. The adhesive is crap. It breaks down inside your door panel and leaves glue all over your tint. The inside of your door panel can get 180+ degree's F in the summer months!

Tint Protectors Moleskin adhesive doesn't break down like the cheap home use stuff. Ask your Tint Shop if they use Tint Protector Moleskin. If they don't then buy it directly from them and bring it to the shop or install it yourself.

I have used Tint Protector moleskin on THREE of my cars and never had one issue with it. It's easy to install.

BMW's are weird though. All the E90 sedans need the felt but only some of the coupes.

Tint World is where I go to. Go 35 all around or even 20 since you have a light interior it won't look as dark.

I had actually been there before and have zero complaints. They did a great job on my windshield tint. They're just a bit on the $$ side. If i remember right they quoted me $300 ish for side and back windows.

I went to tint land in Oakland park...reviews were good...but I would advise to avoid...I had to go back to get it fixed and they still did a crappy job. I'd go back again to make them fix it but at this point they probably will consistently do subpar work...it's warrantied, maybe in the future when I have free time. But I highly advise to avoid. Price was only $200 for lumar, went with 30% and looks good, not too dark like I wanted

I ended up going to Solar Cuts in Pompano and they did a kick ass job! The guy who managed the Tint world that did my windshield opened up his own shop and I found him by dumb luck.. they did 18% all around and 55% on the windshield. Spot on quick installation, super nice people, and really fair pricing! .. kind of a shit pic..

Thanks man. It actually isn't that dark at all. The angle of the picture is deceiving. I thought it was 70 until i looked on the receipt.

Senor Stereo - tints are laser cut and they have an area where you can observe the install. Never had an issue with 3 installs over the years.

Pinnacle F1 by Llumar is expensive but they offer a lifetime warranty on the tint and scratches AND the warranty is transferable to the next owner.
