A General Question About BMW Dealers

I am thinking of trading a Corvette for an M3. Do BMW Dealers routinely take other cars as trade?

Sure, I almost traded my Silverado but ended up selling it myself.

Dealers take anything in trade... BMWs, imports, domestics, cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, motor homes, boats, etc. It requires more work on their part to determine the value, and they often won't retail it to another customer, so the value might not be top dollar like it would be for a BMW. But, they certainly will take it in trade to make a deal.

Dealers usually sell the trade-in's at a dealer auction. They don't necessarly make a lot of $$ on the sale. That's why you always make more $$ on pvt sales.

On a side note, people love to talk about how your car drops $X'rs as soon as you drive off the lot. In reality your car isn't worth less. Your "loss" is in form of taxes/fees associated with the transaction. After all, you can't avoid paying sales tax on the car.

Do a private sale. Sorry about the Corvette, but congrats on the potential ///M! May I ask the reason for the change up?
