Just got a E-Bay carbon fiber wing and front lip (my little review)
Let me get started by saying that, I'm super anal and I like things to fit nice and look OEM. Yes I know E-bay is not the place to be anal and you get for what you pay for.
Last week I ordered a M-tech front lip from Bayson R and a BMW performnce carbon fiber wing from bc.moto, so let's get started. We will start with the M-tech lip. It took about 4 days of shipping wich I thought it was good, packaging was good. Opened it up and the center was a littler warped, all the edges were rough and shitty. Fitment was about 6/10, nothing really fits smooth and over all not really happy at all, been fighting for about 3 days so far to get my money back. Everyone had so many good things to say about bayson R that I tought I was going to look good. Now on to the performance wing, shipping took about 6 days and from Taiwan! Tought that was really fast. Packaging was very very impresive, opened it up with my hopes very low after seeing the M-tech lip and to my surprise it looked beautiful! Carbon fiber looked great, edges were smooth. It came with tape, cleaning supply, adhesive primer and instruction book. Fitted the wing to the car and it fit perfect! I give it a 9.7/10 and I don't even know why I didn't give it a 10/10. I highly recommend it to everyone out there looking for a wing. Here are some pictures, I need to get better ones. Last edited by Black_Jesus; 01-24-2014 at 03:10 PM.. |

That's ok. I'm still trying to figure out if E93 tails will fit on an E92

I bought one of the carbon fiber high kick performance resell ones from ebay and it was pretty awful. Sent it back and got it from JBSpeed speed. Not perfect but still way better.

I went ahead and ordered the same piece from bc.moto. I'm not sure if I will like the spoiler on my car if not i wont cry over $150.
OP when you ordered your spoiler was the ETA ridiculously long, mine is saying it is scheduled for delivery late March early April, just wondering since you said you ordered yours last week and got it so quickly. If i receive this thing soon i will post up on quality/fit etc |

That's a good idea. Most will err on the side of caution and say no, but I haven't checked them all yet.

Just got my wing in Monday, haven't installed it yet just set it in place to look at it and get a quick reference of fit and quality, also shipping was exactly 3 weeks from date of order and vendor was same as OP, bc.moto.
The lip is not perfect (rarely is anything perfect) but honestly i am very impressed with the overall quality and fit esp for $150 shipped, really cannot beat that. the only major issue i cam across so far was that the finish on the underside of the lip was rough/bumpy which would prevent it from sitting as flat as possible on trunk. 5 minutes with some 220grit wet sanding fixed that problem though. I would rate this product very high for its relative low cost. |
