I'm waiting patiently too - this is one essential upgrade I need to make to my e90...

Hoping as a bit of an xmas present (and something to do on xmas day).

If I can have two links, one for sidelights and one for main dipped/main that I can just buy and will work within a week or so then I will be one happy driver. :-)

Tried today. Nice and bright. BUT SORRY.......BULB FAILURE WARNING LIGHT CAME STRAIGHT ON. Tried swapping around, but bulbs only work in one direction only....tried turning ignition on and off a few times to see if it cleared, but came straight back on.
So its a no go.

Nice one Tunna for trying. I guess they've only cracked the warnings for EVERY car except the E90

No worries. The ones I got in atm are very nice looking 501s. But obviously not bright as fook as the LEDs.

nooooooooooo

I was hoping reading this would top of an already superb day for my e90 (bought some 19" rims this aft).

I'm lost now, is there a solution where the lights look better but aren't led's?

Could I be really cheeky and ask if you have any links, or what brand / model numbers I should be looking for? Have you swapped sidelights and main bulbs?

Looks like it will be a cheaper xmas present for my other half to buy at least!

Thanks again!

I gave up and bought LCI headlights with the rings...

Found some plug and play number plate lamp LED festoon bulbs on ebay that work fine. Not heard of any 501's that are error free for E90's

Mate,

They look VERY bright, are you sure they're not so bright so as to dazzle other drivers/road users?

well thought i'd give these bulbs a try as they say error free
http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/error-f...ite-p-495.html
but they still throw up the bulb error on the dash, not too fussed as one press on the indicator stalk button and its gone (apart from little triangle sign next to milage bit)
Im very pleased with how they look and they are only a little bit brighter than standard sidelights so they are not going to blind anyone.
