I have an opportunity to trade center consoles with someone that has a USB hook up an iPod in a 2007 e90 335i I have a 2008 e92 335i and want to swap them they both have the same radios is this possible?

He is trading the car in just if anyone is curious. I just hate not having this option.

So is it necessary to swap the radios also? Both cars have Logic 7.

The center console has nothing to do with the USB. You may be talking about the USB port, the MULF, the wiring and the coding required to make this work.

Please search for details. This is far from just swapping.

Well I'm aware of that I've done several things in this car that people claim needed coding and they didn't so...I was mainly curious what was involved or needed.

I searched and didn't find what I was looking for. Maybe I didn't look hard enough lol...
