It's just glued to the roof (or double side taped even, can't remember)
Why does it need to come off? Radio/GPS reception issues?

Use some fishing line and "cut" through the adhesive....it's double sided tape. Also there's a torx screw holding he antennae down under the cover. I beleive it's a T15 torx bit.

Anything that requires "cutting" adhesives (debadging, etc), I would suggest you heat up the general area with a blow dryer to make the "cutting" a bit easier.

I have removed mine before, guys are right that are saying its just double sided tape. Heat it up a bit, and use dental floss or equivalent to get it off.
