Check out autotrader and cars.com to see what others similar to yours are going for and ask a little more for yours. My experience selling a few cars(including an '06 330xi) pvt sale is that you typically end up a few hundred to $1k less than asking. My 330xi sold at close to what I bought it for months prior but I priced it $1k over. It does suck selling though imo, every time I have to remind myself it's worth it dealing with the idiots and lowballers to get the extra money out of it compared to trading in.
