I am going to do this over the weekend.

But considering my rattle happens upon acceleration to up to 3000rpm, would it most likely be my front turbo causing the issues?
Front turbo is smaller, rear turbo bigger? Correct my ignorance if I am way off...

Yep, you're way off. Turbos are same size and spool at the same time. So, rattle on spool up could be either turbo. Front turbo issues are just less common for some reason.

I, for one, am just going to pick up two of the wastegate clips audi made for their wastegate rattle and use those.

I did get the #61 from Ace, cut the ends of and re-bent though because there was no tension otherwise.

If you have the rattle, its worth the $2 to try, even if it may not work for you.

Mine was $3.7X something in NY yesterday. Put it in this morning and its so laughable that this removed 90% of the rattle.

unreal - i had a bit of remaining rattle after tightening the rod last summer, and this stupid yet brilliant trick took care of it.

I didn't have high hopes for this bandaid...

BUT it did solve 90% of my rattling issues. I park my car on the 5th floor of a parking garage, so it was like torture driving up the parking garage for the past 6 months with this horrible rattle in 1st and 2nd gear!

I'm going to use this as a temporary fix until I make it into the dealer for them to checkout the turbos/wastegates/actuator rods. Now I just need to remove the Cobb flash and install the DP fix that I have laying around.
