I'd have to agree that vishnu's business practices are a little off the norm and that saying you are going to release a product on a certain date and not is a little disheartening. Also we all dumped another 150 into our cars before there was any hard evidence on even what kind of hp/torque that the v2 actually provides. Correct me if im wrong but i havnt seen any actual v2 hp/torque or dyno sheets. I have seen the "estimated" hp/ torque from when v2 was first spoken about. Dont get me wrong - im waiting in line like every one else for my v2 to arrive - but some info from vishnu would be appreciated to put an end to the speculation on whats wrong with the v2 delivery process?

Almost seems like Terry isnt the only one that people think has bad practices......interesting.....

Also, how many people have complained about customer support or lack of delivery on AA, TT, or JB? Just a thought....

We'll get it when we get it. It's not like this hasn't happened before when the Procede came out. Give them time and just enjoy V1.47 for now.

You guys should all agree to cancel and ditch them so they learn to communicate, or be patient.

That is exactly what im saying you cant send your whole company on leave just after your biggest launch ever its bad business. Wait for you guys to take well deserved leave and when they get back launch your product. Look i want my V2 very bad, i cant wait for it but you cant take people credit card details and accepts hundreds of orders then go on leave and shut the company almost down. Just please update us its not hard a hard thing to ask.

Wuddya mean I have to wait 3 months for you to build my car? You are a dealership and should have them on the lot RIGHT NOW! So wait, you are charging my card a deposit to place the order and secure my price but I wont ACTUALLY be driving something for a few months?

How many of you really went through the above when you were getting your car? How many of you really felt that way? Its a 40k+ car that you had no problem waiting 3-5 months for so whats the big deal of $150 out of your pocket for 1-2 months?

I think some people just like to find things to complain about and try to get others to follow. Dont you have something better to do? Go out and play ball with your kid. If you are a kid, go play ball with your dad.

bro! i went thru it and ordered my car that way, while having another pretty-new car.
I also couldnt wait the entire thing, so i picked up another car that was on the lot and ditched my ordered car.

does that tell you anything about people's patience?
it is both impatience AND the fact that people dont want to be in the dark. People are willing to wait if they are told to, but the problem is that Vishnu is not communicating and did not set the right expectations.
No one would blame them if they said it will take X amount of weeks to deliver, no one was rushing them. they came up with the production deadlines that they couldnt meet.

why am i talking? i didnt even order it

But the difference is that the BMW dealer told you up front on how long it was going to take. So you knew when leaving the deposit that it would take 3 months.

You were an Audi guy, dont you remember when APR would told everyone that the Stage 3 kit would be ready in "2 weeks" but really ended up being like a year.

Its not about the wait - its about the lack of communicaton and information from vishnu. If they came out and said its going to be 2 months --- so be it but they already posted a release date and did not deliver!

Im a little pissed  but im not going to cancle over it - Im very happy with my v 1.47 and will continue to enjoy it until my v 2 finally arrives.

Because with the 40k + car they told me i would get it in 4 months and i did!!!! Here we have almost no feedback from VISHNU at all thats the difference. Tell me when i place my order" You are order number 446574654765765 and you will get your procede in 7 years" at least thats better service and as a customer im not in the dark.

LOL that was the longest running joke. Anytime any company would say they were coming out with something it was always the APR quote "2 weeks". I dont know anyone that actually ever got anything from APR. Sometimes I even say it in real life to people(as to when something will get done) but Im the only one laughing. Oh well.

Well, I knew from when I ordered the original PROcede back in Feb and finally got it in April that it would probably be the same situation this time around. I dont really care(then again my charge hasnt gone through yet), I know it will eventually arrive at my doorstep.

Again, people can complain all they want but you dont see them cancelling their orders do you. So either put up, or shut up!

Are you seriously comparing the ordering of a spec'd automobile to a little gadget that has been hyped and hushed for months now? Let's also mention that BMW doesn't have a reputation for hosing people over or listing delivery dates that aren't even close. Why don't you go browse some of the EVO forums and see the reaction when you post about Vishnu products...make sure you wear your flame suit. All that being said I have been very happy with my Procede but I think that Vishnu has been successful here despite their customer service not because of it. I think those things along with other little things like the whole 'it's not a Haltech...okay you caught me, it's a Haltech' tend to cast little shadows of doubt.

It's marketing 101...you keep your customers updated with future products, so they'll expect it. This way it'll stray the customers away from other competition in the meantime...ur all fishes, all of you

Have CC's already been charged?
delays happen. its reality in anything more complicated than ordering a pizza (and even there you can run into problems) . but I kinda understand why people are steamed if they already paid, money already taken out of credit cards/debit cards. Most companies only put the charge through when the item already ships, to avoid angst from customers that perceive a full charge before shipping as a free loan to the company.

realistically, crap happens. Communications can mitigate that, but at the end of the day, everyone has a recourse, you can always dispute the charge with your cc company if you have not received the item and cannot get a refund from the merchant directly.
