I know my car already has the Progman 24.00.00 software update on it and I was wondering why I still get other issues listed on previous Progman versions and apparently my dealer said that Progmam 24.00.00 doesn't carry the updates and changes on the previous Progmam versions.

Meaning if you have an issue thats listed on Progman 22.02.00, your dealer needs to update your car with Progman 22.02.00. Progman 23.00.00 won't solve the issue for you. True? Has anyone have any experience with this? I'm bringing in my car to have some software updates soon and I just want to know what I'm getting myself into as well as know how to talk to my dealer. Thanks!

The PDF file below contains all the updates and changes for each Progman version from 17.01 up to version 25.00.00.

Doesn't sound right...the fixes in the minor releases should be integrated into the next Mainline release code.

So 24 contains all updates before it

Except where a previous update caused a problem, then it may be removed.

I have the following issues:

From Progman 25.00.00
- A loud humming noise can be heard from the auxiliary fan when the vehicle is idling.

From Progman 23.01.00
- Vehicle bucks slightly under acceleration or when pulling away after a cold start.

From Progman 20.00.00
- Engine juddering/idle speed surging when it is cold. It says its for the N52 engine only though and my engine is a N54 335i but I also have the same juddering. Wonder if this will fix it.

From CIP 19.01.00
- Loss of Airflow from defroster vents
- While traveling at a slow speed with a constant rain, the automatic wipers do not operate.

But really what I want solved is the jitters and jolts that I get when my car's on idle as well as my car stutters slightly under acceleration or when pulling away after a cold start.

Others have mentioned that their jolts and jitters go away after their cars have warmed up but on mine, I still get them even once the car's reached is max operating temp of about 260F. I don't have an oil cooler.

My SA told me that they updated my car with the Progman 24.00.00 but I still get all the issues that I listed above. They're fixes from the previous versions so shouldn't they have already been fixed once Progman 24.00.00 was updated on to my car? Unless of course Progman 24.00.00 wasn't really updated on my car??

Btw, I've read that there's a Progman 25.02 or 25.03 or 25.01.01 available already? I don't know which is which. Basically, I'm just looking for the newest update there is right now. Is there anyway to find out what are the updates for those versions? The pdf file I have only covers up to Progman 25.00.00.
