bmw havent release their carbon fiber trim yet. i think these are some prototype some company was working on. they look really nice in person. i was thinking about getting them wrap myself, but couldnt find a company to do it. of course i would have got a wodd trim to do it on. at least with th wrap we know its oem fitment.

personally, i don't think that is rediculous, there are many way to manufacture CF items and it is about saving cost. The way you described would save cost and that would mean you pay less for that type of CF product.

They are great! NO problems at all. I got mine from Roveractive on Ebay. I got the assemblies only, because I already had xenon lights. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7976738710 I had the dealer install them and they didn't mention any problems. They charged me for 3 and a half hours.
