I wouldn't go darker than 35% if you're in the NYC area for sure. It is just an extra reason to get stopped by police. I'm fishbowling now and love it!

i had 35% and it looked like i had no tints, so i went with 20% and cant be happier. i drive by cops all the time on Northern Blvd and i only got stopped once (knocks on wood). gave them my pba card and they let me go.

Black interior with 35% will look darker than beige interior with 35%. Keep that in mind!

20% all around. Red interior which is mostly black, beige or gray would look a bit lighter.

Got my tints done 5 years ago and they're still holding up well

20% sides. Windshield 20% and 35%. The very top is 20% and from 3/4 all the way to the bottom is 35%.

I think you have a spelling mistake in your thread title?

There's an 'n' in 'tints' that shouldn't be there

Not even. I've only gotten pulled over once for tints and used the PBS card. I don't know why but I dont have a problem with my tints.

I may be getting pulled over more often though cuz I just got Eisenmann race exhausts on and they are loud as fuck... I have a feeling they gonna get me in trouble lol.

Damn George, the tinted windshield looks so sick. Wish I could do that around here without having to worry about getting pulled over every 5 minutes. It was really tempting to get 35 on the front when I was having mine done lol.

I wanna tint my front but I'm afraid of driving at night with a tinted windshield.

I think 35 would be okay, but it would still suck during rain or any bad weather.

04yfz?
Thanks man. I barely get noticed for the tint in the M3.. For some reason the e92 seems to get a lot of attention by the cops.

20% on the sides and 35% complete windshield.

35% would be fine. Unless you live in the boonies where there are no street lights or anything. You could keep it on the safe side and go with a 50% tint on the front windshield.

Heres a 35% on my e class with no front windshield tint. I was thinking of doing a 50% on it. It really doesn't appear to be too dark but will keep enough light out while maintaining visibility.
