E92 LCI vs E92 - picture comparison

I thought it might be interesting to have a direct comparison between the pre LCI E92 and the LCI E92 next to each other. I used the press pictures of both, some angles are wrong, but you get an idea as to what was changed and how it changes the car (for better or for worse). I like the new styling cues.

EDIT: Side profile added.
EDIT 2: Headlight and taillight shots added.

That's it for now. I might do some more angles later.

Nice work! How about a side profile comparo - to highlight the longer overhangs on the LCI and what they add to the design as a whole

i think the only thing i like about the new LCI is the tailights. I think the e90 LCI was a good step forward but i really don't like the e92 LCI

Added. I didn't find exactly matching angle shots, though.

+1, I rate it lost some of its stylish yet aggressive character... now it looks friendly and bulbous up front

Edit:That subtle change on the side skirt looks sharp though

I like the new headlights and the new kidney grilles, but that's about it. The oval for the front tow hook cap looks out of place with the caps for the headlight washers.

The Power of 3

Nice – the E92/3 LCI blows the pre-LCI away. More aggressive, sporty and masculine.

Really captures the essence of BMW.

Can't wait for the M-Sport!

I am very glad they didn't put the extra ridges on the hood for these LCIs like they did on the eE90.

the silver bars across the bumper mesh remind me of the pre-LCI e90 accent bars. Those are horrible IMO....

I like the new lower front grille and the taillights, but that's all. The new kidney grille looks childish and uninspired. The headlights are a mess.

The ideal facelift would be: the current coupe + new lower front grille + new taillights + new sideskirts + new white angel eyes. Nothing else should have been touched...
