shit. am i the only one in NY that actually like them? i thinks its pretty retro looking. im kinda looking forward to these. ultimately id love the statue of liberty ones. i always think of ghostbusters 2 when i see that plate lol.

Yea i guess so. it also depends where you live in NY. i live out in long island so its peaceful and no potholes. I thought i would never get these plates but i just bought a beater civic today and i have to get it registered. So i guess ill be one of the first people on the forums with these plates. FML

i was on my way to florida last week and i love how in the south THEY DONT REQUIER FRONT PLATES.. so i am thinking since i have a house in florida i am ganna register my car in florida while i live in ny..... since ny state is being gay.. i will not get those plates im just ganna reuse my plates for ever.. and ny is gay because they dont have money they came up with bull crap ways to get money... i say NY GET A LIFE.

Just seen the "new" plates for the first time on some old shitty car. Looks terrible. At night with bad lighting it almost looks like the "older" plates from a distance but really, really dirty. And yes the design is just terrible.

its not as bad as this picture posted. i had a quick glance at them today on a 7. they do have that retro look. too similar to delaware and NJ though, which sucks. its just one of those things that you go "WTF" when you see it for the first time. not as bad but still suck

now if you hate somebody, you can just steal their plates. Now they have to pay to get new plates, and get these ugly ones.

lol, i actually like them too...the current plates are too complicated...this is nice and simple almost spartan looking, which I like.
