Not sure, I never timed it like that. The car pulls very hard up until about 160, then you can definately feel the wind start to become a big factor.

4. It had between 1/2 to 3/4 of 93 octane maybe shouldn't of filled up two days prior.
5. No had everything in even had my kids car seat still in the back seat. (and no my kid did not ride along)lol.
6. Sumitomo HTR ZIII stock tire size/Stock 18" wheels
7. One year with this car, but many years at the track racing.
8. 12.805 @ 109.38mph 1/4 mile 8.252 @ 85.92mph 1/8 mile with a 1.845 60'.

Next time I need to run my future use 2 value at 45 or even 50 (meth+race gas) as I saw that my boost targetting was a bit slower than optimal (shiv advised 45 for defaults and 50 with meth/race gas at the dragstrip)

Last week, I went to the drag strip just by curiosity... I didn't "prepare" my car in any way. I had 3/4 of cheap fuel and I still had my roof rack with 2 bicycle mounts... With roughly the same temperature, here's my drag slip:



Last night, I took the rack off the car and got some better gas (94 octane)... Here's the result:



I think it did a pretty good difference!

Why is my car so slow?

1) Model and Transmission - 335i 4 door - Step
2) Elevation, Temp and Humidity - Sealevel, 95 degrees, 80% Humidity
3) All performance modifications done to the car - V4 Auto Tune, Dual Cone
4) Level of gas ran and how much gas in the tank? - Half tank, 93
5) Any weight reduction done to the car? - None
4) Type of tires and rims? - Stock 18" All Season non-run flats
5) Years of driving the type of transmission? - First time with Auto
6) 13.694 @ 102.42 - 1.996 60' - Capitol Raceway

I made 13 runs between 5:45pm and 10:15pm...only once did the tranny have a problem where it would not shift when I hit the button.

I really thought this car would run closer to 13.2 or something around those numbers with the Tune and DCI. The car was consistant with times as low as 13.694 @ 102.42 and as high as 13.940 @ 101.32. I ran the car in DS/manual mode break boosting to about 2krpm and shifting around 6200rpm. I tried letting the tranny do the shifting but my trap time was lower. Below are some of my numbers please let me know if you see anything wrong or if I am expecting too much from my car

im from Sydney, i ran my car tonight.

Stock 07 335i space grey(red goes faster right? lol)
steptronic, stock 18s RFT standard pressure, 1/2 tank of 98octane(australian measurement)
air temp was 8 degrees celcius
not sure what the sea level was.

this was the first time with the 335i on the strip. If only i could get a better 60' then im sure i be at the 13.3xx time.
