I probably wouldnt suggest doing it. They get very hot in use as it is, and asking more power from them would significantly shorten the life of the bulbs, not to mention but increased strain on the wiring. could result in a melted harness..

[edit] well, that is, until it sets on fire - then it'll provide PLENTY of illumination while it burns. :]

You'll need newer LCM to get welcome lights LCI style. Not sure what's your build date but on E60 model BMW started to use LM2 on Sept. '06 build.

Can anyone here remotely code for retrofitted bluetooth? Added it to my 335 and need the car recoded to allow it to work. Local BMW dealership says they cant do it.

I see pathway lighting and the time in the iDrive lighting menu, but is there a way to turn them on or off from there? Or just change the amount of time? Is there a way to code them on or off? Maybe I changed something accidentally when I was coding my welcome lights.... |

I got one from rubdom (thx!) but it's inconclusive in that I think I copied most of the settings and still no go. So I'm looking for some more dumps to see what I can do.
I'll check your thread, thx!

Yep -- that's the one. It is probably around 221KB in size. Would appreciate it!
