Royal Purple oil
Since oRiley is having a sale with royal purple i went and order it. Dose anyone know if bosch oil filter are any good? This is the first oil change im doing on my bimmer since CPO has expire. Can someone give me some info or helpful hints. Ive done many oil changes before but not on my bmw. How many quarts of oil will i need? What is the best type of oil filter? Has anyone ran Royal purple on your bimmer before? thanks

OEM oil filter and save your money on the RP snake oil.

You can get an OEM oil change kit online at

Not in bimmer, but I put RP in my truck the last change. A tank of gas used to get me about 300 miles, now I'm making 320 or so.

But as for the filter, have you compared the different filters? To me I could care less which filter it is because it's a paper filter anyways. 20 bucks for a Bosch vs. 10 bucks for a Fram when they look and feel identical? I'll save the 10 bucks. |
