I think he's going to say that it's because in the pic it doesn't look like theres a BS mark on it or the name and postcode of the place that made the plates.

That said, two cars ago, I got plates done online and they made all that info so small, you could barely see it, never mind take pics of it!

Ahhhh there is a halfords logo, kite mark and address etc at the bottom, it just doesn't show on the pic.
