EAST COAST EURO !?

.... I saw some car enthusiasts at Chipotle at Kingstowne last night while I was cruising w/ my M in the area. I saw a bunch of M3s, Audis about to leave the parking lot and I hurried to find out whats going on. I caught few cars trailing behind a caravan and followed them. One guy open his door to give me a calling card at the traffic light as we headed to 495.
its was a cool rallye on 495, hearing the rubbling sounds of their high end exhausts and seeing their shining CSLs (bav! ur home) I exited next exit, for I didnt want to end up it trouble.

let me look at the business card they handed WAIT@!

(got the card in the car, look!)

.... who are these people ? they are all over the place

Afer you left, Shim and I were posting the very same business cards on all the cool euro rides on the parking lot. I would feel complimented at the very least....

So David, what's the story on the run? Anyone else confirm ... looks like you haven't updated the front page for a few days. Also, let me know if we still want to have a BBQ at my place or not. I'm coming on the run either way, but if the BBQ is on then I gotta make a quick run to the ol Costco.

Yeah, that's cool. I don't have a problem buying all the food/drinks, etc. and then just having everyone chip in to cover some of the costs. I trust you guys

OK the Saturday Round of the 1st Leeds Manor Blue Ridge Rally is a wrap!

Details of the rally is as elaborately laid out by his Orangeness on the 1st page of the thread.

It was a great and memorable outing. Definitely a great workout for our cars. We met up at the rendezvous point at Tysons II at 09:30-10:10 this morning. There were 4 members of ECE present.

Cars present/run in no particular order...
E46 330i (Shim)
E90 330i (SixSpeedSam)
E90 325i (KL2DC)
E39 M5 (ECE member)
E36 325i (ECE member) - really loud exhaust!
W203 Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG (ECE member)
Mk 4 VW Golf GTI VR6 (ECE member)

The outing centered pretty much on an uphill run followed by a downhill run...and of course some fast times on I-66W and E. After the run, we split up and Shim, Sam, me and C32Vroom (ECE) convoyed for an Indian buffet lunch in Fairfax. Spicy!!

To all the disbelievers out there, Shim lead the course at a very fast clip, some hairy moments but overall it was a safe outing

Thanks Shim, can't wait 'till next year's run.

We've actually done every Tues. last month and now for the summer, may go back to biweekly later.
