Feeler full BMW bluetooth retrofit kit
OEM Bluetooth/assist retrofit parts. These consist of the FZD, the bluetooth TCU, the antenna and microphone. They are coded to work with each other. They were plug and play for me and should be for you as long as you have phone pre-wiring, ie an 08 car. This came from an e90 3 series and worked fine in my 1er as well. My car has been in the shop so much that BMW NA said they would be compensating me so I am looking at new cars. This would be the last thing to go from the car because it is the thing I use the most. THe car gets back from its current stay at the dealer on tuesday or wednesday. I would be asking $350 shipped. |

I hate to keep you all waiting but here's the update. my case has been submitted to the bmw regional rep that makes the decisions on compensation and an answer should be coming soon. at that point I'll let everyone know. thanks for the patience.

hey guys,
I still have it in the car, the regional rep is still deciding on what compensation to give me. as soon as that decision is made and I can get into a new car that has this, I can sell all this stuff. |

FZD are almost vehicle specific. I did this retrofit and had to purchase a different FZD because the software tool would not program my car without the correct FZD. Whoever buys this better make sure the FZD # works with their car.

How can you tell if FZD will work for your car? I have a 2006 e90 330 |

I bought a unit from ebay and it worked fine for my car, but when it came to dealer programming, it wouldnt program because my FZD didnt belong on the car. |

yes, we tried coding mine before we knew about a microphone prewiring setup for the 1er that's different from the 3. it wouldn't program. that said, once the mic wires were switched into the right pin configuration (for some reason the 3 comes ready to accept the mic and the 1 has to have pins switched) the FZD worked fine with its bluetooth tcu and throws no codes. i can push the assist button and they come on the line but they cannot recognize the car. i don't really care about that as the bluetooth phone is all that matters for me. as to this being for sale- it still potentially is, and there is a line of potential buyers waiting- I'm sorry guys that BMW is taking so long to decide upon and give me compensation for my car
