It's not the VLT that will interfere with CA but rather the material that makes up the film. Stay away from films with metal in them and you should be fine.

look up metallic and ceramic tint, ceramic is the one that will not interfere with AM/GPS/Comfort Access related stuff.

I just had my car tinted today, everything is fine.

What kind of tint did you do? I am considering Huper Optik 30 on my e92 SG 335xi when I take delivery in 3 weeks. Do you have any pictures to share?

I went with Greystone 40% (www.johnsonwindowfilms.com). The tint is metal-free.

Here's the official tint thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3093
probably more useful w/ color combos.

the degree of tint does not affect how comfort access performs; instead it's what the film is composed of. ideally, you would want to get a dye or ceramic based film.
