Probably the noise at first. Then the tires when I slammed on the brakes.

Thanks FBIS ... Much better review than I could have ever done.
For me, I just love driving the car. You can beat on it relentlessly and its stable and consistent. It sounds amazing inside. I don't feel like I gave up anything. It took a little time to re-learn the sweet spot of the car, but that was easy enough. On a 6AT, DS shifts a little low 2600-ish RPM. I just drive it Manual mode nowadays and I cruise at 3000-3200 RPM, always within striking distance. The transient response of the 58mm is even faster than the 62mm (if you can believe that). This weekend I finally decided to let my other 335 FBO go ... It was a waste just sitting in the driveway. I had enough miles and seat time to realize there was nothing the FBO had that the single didn't. So it went from FBO+Meth to Stock to Trade-in material ... for a ... (wait for it) 2012 Honda Odyssey (yes, a minivan). I hope my blue single turbo 335 still allows me to keep my "man-card". |

You only get to hold it when you are behind the wheel of the 335. Otherwise, consider it gone. And that is letting you off easy.

troof.... man card is gone when you aren't behind the wheel of your 335. I felt it yesterday when a couple kids at a WAWA looked at me like i have no card getting into my flex.... ugh...

Good review FBIS.......i'm strongly considering the r888's now....my M/T drag radials almost wrecked my car yesterday on a short drive when I hit some rain. Scared the crap out of me.
have you driven the r888's in the rain yet?

I ran them on my E36 track car in steady rain a few days at VIR. Great grip, but you still need to keep your max speed down to about 100-105 MPH. Wider is worse in the rain.

Thanks for the great review FBIS. Any plans to do some road tracking sessions? Would be interesting to see such a review! Or lend me your car and I'll do it for you
