I don't think it's very accurate, my 3 month old BMW has lost £8k in 4 months and my old SLK 55 is worth £21k. Market value is £30k minimum

They listed the specification for mine and got four or five specification items wrong (I've got iDrive for example - err, no) - as well as the original list price.

It also doesn't value any options at all.

So I would take their valuation as an absolute minimum.

That site values my car at 17k ish, but have just been offered 21k by BMW. Large pinch of salt required.

But if regd dec 09 would be a 59 plate? 09 plates only for cars actually regd between mar 09 and aug 09.

What does the v5 say?

Stop and think about what you're saying for a minute.

Have a look at your car and see if it really is an 09 plate.

You say it is an 09 plate but you picked it up Feb 2011?? That makes fuck all sense.

The latest a car could be registered to be on an 09 plate is August 31st 2009, you are then saying you waited a year and half to collect it??

I think think that you mean it was register in Feb 2010, so it would be a '59' plate 2010 car, not 2011??

if that is the case than yeah it will have lost 30% easily, cars always loose 30-40% in the first 18 months. Give it another 18 months and it will loose another 10-20% taking it to around 50% of original value, which is about right an expected.

Next time buy at 18 months old and save 35%. Easy.

it says L*59...

I am the first registered keeper/ owner....

can't really remember...but think the car was registered in nov/ dec....but for some bullocks dealership reason i couldn't take delivery until feb 10....

Maybe it was a dealer registered car?

Does it say a previous owner on the front of the V5??

Registered as a dealer car in November means that they could sell it in Feb when the 3 month period is up.

Advertise it privately mate, that is the sort of desirable car that would sell well.

The wife bought a TTS last week to replace her 996. Pretty nice car. Should sell pretty easily as we struggled to find one.

I was offered some cracking deals on TTS Coupes a few months back. I really do like the interiors and the squared off steering wheel bottom. Drive the deal had a couple of special offers last month too.
