OLD Vishnu PWM pump push lock to compression coversion?...Anyone know how?
As the title says. I rececntly purchased a Procede PWM Meth kit with the OLD push lock pump fittings. I am looking to place it in my trunk with all SS lines and compression fittings. I figured this was an easy conversion but it seems no one has a way to make the pump connections to compression conversion. I have and only found conversions for the hoses to solenoid. I have thought of using an adapter to make a threaded end but this still does not solve how to covert the PUMP itself to compression since we would need push lock at the pump and compression everywhere else.
Any ideas? Any help is appreciated. |

Only option I saw was to replace the pump. I would like to replace the top with new fittings too.

Closeup pic of the pushlock?
You can pull out the plastic lock in most pushlocks then bore/thread the inside...

I have thought about that as well. I actually have 2 pumps on the way with the kit that I bought from another forum member. I am thinking about taking one apart to see if the fittings could be changed out or adapted. There has to be a way to do this.

Unfortunately, converting from push-in fittings to compression fittings will require replacing your pump. But the new pumps flow a bit more than the older ones. They also are a bit quieter and smoother running as well.

Compression fittings all the way from pump to nozzles and my meth flow has been flawless ever since going to the trunk mount with a gravity feed. Couldn't be happier with the combo |

After going single turbo, I also went trunk mount. Using a 5g baffled tank which seems like overkill. But it last forever

It will last me about two weeks with normal driving. Tuning and running datalogs will cut that in half. But hey....I have full use of my trunk |

Thanks I am still considering my options for now. However, I have a question. Your site states the replacement pump is $170. There was a thread some months ago stating it would be $245. I defnitely would not be interested in it at $245 but MAY POSSIBLY be interested in it at $170. So could you clarify the cost of the upgrade pump? Thanks. |
