cool thanks. yah i'm going to check with the local shop on the weekend. i think i'll tell them to make it as cheap as possible...perhaps make the base shorter.

Alternatively, I might just have them weld together square tubes of aluminum cut to fit in the space...that might be cheaper than milling it out of a solid block of aluminum.

i'll post pictures once i have a prototype.

All you really need is the block to be honest. The puck underneath the block isn't that important. I like it though..

And the square block can be bolted to a round puck, no problem. No need for it to be one solid milled out piece... This saves a lot of material costs, machining time, etc.

Josh...you can probably sell that spare one to Hunter.

I've commisioned a local machine shop to come up with something for me. It certainly won't be as nice as they are going to cut some corners by welding two blocks together rather than milling it out of solid aluminum. I'm going to see what they come up with. I might regret it...but since I already told them to make something and I will have to pay for it...I won't need to buy from Josh.

Those of you who are buying from Josh...you guys are lucky! He's made one fine piece.
