I too am not too familiar with Austin but:

From Mopac, take 2222 west all the way past 620 till it dead ends into 2769 (Volente Road) is a fun/twisty road.....that was a small portion when we had the big Texas meet back in May.

1431 all the way to Marble Falls was a nice drive as well.

I'll let some of the others chime in.

Spicewood springs off 360 is another one. Just have to watch out for the wildlife. This weekend is going to be a little crazy in Austin too. The UT was game postponed because of the hurricane and moved to this weekend, the same time as the festival...

Im 50/50 for tonight guys. Some work stuff came up..

I'm 100% in tonight

BTW, I would advise against volente area... that's where someone got pulled over when we had our group cruise for the Big Texas Meet.....

Andy, your secretary is probably so confused... first, you have multiple wheels / tires delivered to your ofice. Now you have folks coming in returning stuff...hahaha

I regret to inform you I will not be making it to Austin tomorrow...I had too much fun at the drag strip tonight (first time ever) and corded what was left of my already worn tires...I hope to be back on the road by thursday though!

^ no...that would just be embarrassing...did I mention it was my FIRST time EVER on a drag strip? I did 5 passes...1st pass my gas pedal stuck to the floor in second gear and I couldn't get third...ended up redlining (without shifting) all the way down the track (scared the SH*T out of me). Next 2 passes I forgot to turn off my dtc. Last two passes I couldn't get 2nd gear for the life of me (maybe because you can't make that shift at redline?) I shamefully admit that my car which is easily capable of a low 13 was far from it (driver's errors). After all said and done, my best time was a 14.2

Yeah Matt go ahead and post the time slips haha. All fairness aside it was his first time at the strip, and his 60ft was killing him. Once he learns how to launch he will do alot better.
