hey guys pretty simple question i dont want no hellaflush bmw by no means but once i get all my m3 stuff put on next week i want to drop my car i was thinking h&r sport springs are drop serious money on coils what do you all think and why

p.s. i already have the sport suspension so my car doesnt have that 4x4 means at all but i hate how the back is like a little lower then the front

If you can swing it, go coils! That way you'll only do it once. I've seen over and over again people went springs first then eventually get coils. Don't waste your time and money on springs and do it right the first time.

My first mod for my E90 is KW v3 and couldn't be happier

The other advantage of coils is if you don't like the stance...you can change it! Something you can't do with springs alone...

yea i know lol im going to for sure get coils as soon as all my front m3 stuff come in, maybe even before i work on the rear of my car and exhaust.

Good coils will cost you between $1500 - $2500 brand new.

I'd say at most 2 hours if you have a lift.

oh ok thats cool my mechanic charges me $50 an hour and he works on performance vehicles i thought it would take alot longer so im happy haha

I installed it diy with a friend and it depends on which set you planning on getting. Each coilovers prices varies, as far as price for installation that also depends on the shop. Just do your research and ask around for prices. I'd highly recommend Pat@Sonic Tuning for the parts though. The guy never sleeps and answers whatever questions or concerns you may have.

There are differing opinions, but most suggest an alignment after the install, so don't forget to factor that in.

Do it right the first time and get coilovers also the difference in comfort level will depend what kind of coilovers you buy.

i was thinking the v3's honestly i was looking to spend no more then $1200 not including install of course but i will be completing my rear bumper/ exhaust setup up first. This will be the last thing on my list so im just trying to find a really good deal, what are other coil overs that are reallly good other then the kw's??

No way you'll be able to pick up a set of new KW V3 for $1200. The V1 is around that price range though.
