Meet @ Lauderdale BMW

Lauderdale BMW ( the Pembroke Pines Store ) is being kind enough to invite us up on a Sunday for a gathering.

Full Details

Basically, they are opening their doors to us on Sunday for food, prizes, BMW tech Q&A and other fun stuff.

If you are going to go, post in one of the threads because I have to give them a head count so they can have enough food and staff on hand to handle it.

i have been there forr the past 4 years, im retirring this year...I have had very good memories there =)

Not a good idea, imho...especially for those who have some major mods. The only reason to go to a dealer is for service or if you're buying a new car...period.

You must not get along with your service department very well... I've had no problems taking my cars there. All they ask is that you give them the heads up before you make them chase gremlins which may not be caused by a regular BMW part.

They were even kind enough to do my alignment for me on my M3 with my own provided alignment numbers as long as I brought them some wood blocks to help them get it up on the alignment rack.

Talk to Todd. He's the service manager. As long as you tell them what the deal is and what you have done, they will try to work with you. If you bring your car in there and act like you haven't modified it and you've blown the motor... as soon as they find what you did... you are ass out.

I get along very well with my Service Dept., except my very cool SA moved back to NY :sad0147: , so I'll be getting a new SA next time I go in for service.

I just think that having a BMW Meet at the dealer is kind of lame (especially since they have their own sales-related agenda for inviting current BMW drivers)...I have better things to do with my time.

Now, if we're going to meet on a weekend day for a BMW Meet/BBQ somewhere in S. FL, then that sounds great...count me in!!!

yea I know Todd H. Helped me out with my lemon/BMW buy back, really cool guy, took care of eveything, but I always go to Joe greco, really awesome guy, he is the BEST!!!!

The food is being lined up as well as the prizes as we speak. Last time they gave away a BMW Mountain Bike, some BMW luggage and some BMW clothing items.

It is shaping up to be an excellent event.
