btw: if any SF people do buy this, I have discs that can revert any late 2011 MBP with Lion, back to Snow Leopard. I'm not selling anything OP! But I'm willing to help out someone if they hate Lion and they're local. I'm not giving up my discs

Haha, the resolution is good enough for me. I already have a tough time reading sometimes. Thanks for the info. Someone maybe able to get good use of it. However, are the late 2011 models able to run snow leopard? I was afraid it would give it a kernel panic.

For late 2011 models to run Snow Leopard, you need an early 2011 recovery CD, not the retail Snow Leopard upgrade discs. Format the system, run via the drive and it'll install. When install you'll notice that some functions won't work (ie trackpad, iLife, Function keys), but once you do a full System Update, it'll download all necessary programs to run just as normal
