Setting up on Win7x64
Can someone do an actual recording of setting up coding on a win7 x64 machine and provide links for where the software can be found? Steps to take etc.
I am going to try again after many months of failing to get NCSExpert to run on my windows7 x64 machine. I don't want to use a vm etc. I'm sure 2.12 was x64 compatible. People must have managed it now that 64 bit machines are so prevalent. It's killing me!!! |

It's very easy, no guides needed.
Download this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0h...p=docslist_api Password: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...p=docslist_api and this if needed: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0h...p=docslist_api Then just download latest BMW v54 daten files and use 'BMW Coding Tool' to update the sp-daten! |

http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm Standard tools 2.12 works on x64. If you want to use other applications you MAY need to use win32 compatibility, I still didn't tested/checked for example diaghead etc ... Last edited by allotherareused; 01-01-2015 at 03:59 PM.. |
