I'm think Purely Alpina is not the way to go. Let me ask you guys this...How does the Auto-Broker business work?

Let me know where you can buy a BMW dealer on the East coast for $2-3 mil and I will take 2 of them. The last dealer in this area to be sold was Greenwich BMW in CT to DCH that went for well over $50 mil if you include debt repayment etc. Dealerships are always in play just have to know the right people and have a big check book. The big guys that own 30 plus dealers (not all BMW) are out there snatching up anything they can get there hands on.

Two BMW dealerships just sold in California, one for $55M the other for $65M plus inventory! Good luck raising that much cash!

IMHO, firm/entrepreneur raises that kind of cash on loan.

Banks may give you loan, consider this one of the dealers around here sells about 200 BMW a month, if each car gives them gross profit of $2000 (low estimate) that generates cash flow of about 400K. Not to mention, service, part sales etc. Last I check on my service bill was $1048.

BTW, if I had 55mil, a 5% a year on money market will make me happier than owning a BMW dealer.

65 mil + inventory?? the dealership isn't worth jack without their inventory and the property and fixed assets
