well i guess i was wrong.....
from the mmw facebook page "It's a mad dash to Bimmerfest 2012! We've been hard at work getting things together for the show and will have our Supercharged Stage 1 N52 e90 at the show, along with some headers to check out and the MMW Carbon Fiber e90 lip on the car also! It's been a very long road of development on all these products and it's great to be able to bring them out for you guys this weekend, hope to run in to some of you at Bimmerfest! After the show we will be able to ship out orders and will have more video and images to check out, And most importantly - Dyno numbers to drool over Any questions about Bimmerfest, Headers, Supercharger, Lips, A Caravan to BF 2012, Or just to say "hi" - Gavin@mmotorwerks.net" lols |

Sounds like buying some time.
Everyone of you should get a refund or a huge discount. The low hp gains aren't worth that money or hassle. Why doesn't he post it himself?!? |

Oh damn. Didnt realize he was a baller as well...
Hes laughing all the way to Vegas with everyone's money. Seriously doubt he has produced a product. He is probably waiting for everyone's paypal money to be past 30 days so they cant file a dispute. Cant believe how stupid people are.... |

The flanges for these are a slip on, so they mate to the OEM midpipes with ease - but it also gives you more flexibility when supercharged and creating a custom exhaust for higher flow, so you are not limited to the OEM pinch points at the flanges. You can just use a flow through clamp instead of the flange for an easy install of your new oversize midpipes. |

Is it just the picture or do the primaries appear to be different in diameter?
I think there should be flanges though, clamps are cheap and cheesy (one of the things that annoyed me about the BMW performance exhaust). -Nate

I could have sworn he put up a post stating that FedEx tracking numbers were emailed. I guess he meant Eventual Express rather than Federal Express Where is the dyno results of the HEADERS only? We all know the "supercharger" isn't going to be "released" for 10 months yet, so why not get the information people are looking for? Priorities, priorities, priorities. If you have too many irons in the fire, then something is going to give.

He has to push the last of the group buy people past the point where they cant file with paypal to get their money back.
If he wanted to start a company get a traditional loan or investors. The group buy build as you get paid thing doesnt work and puts a sour taste in peoples mouths. I literally will not buy a single thing from MMW for any car. Incredibly unprofessional and unfair to people to keep promising things. If im not mistaken the group buy for headers began last November and it is now June!!!!! You guys honestly think youll get them? How do you even know if it will give you the gains promised? You dont because the guy making them didnt even build one and have it dynoed to give solid reason for people to buy. I just cannot believe how many of you handed over money and are fine with how you have been treated. As the thread title states. MMW fail. Dont even get me started on the fact that he keeps saying oh check Facebook....You have an entire group of people on the forum here who own the very car youre making products for and you cant even keep them updated. How incredibly retarded is that? Quote:

Developing a forced induction kit takes a good deal of time. The more time he takes the better to begin with. Rushing it out without knowing the kit is perfected and tuned properly leads to extremely harsh ramifications. If you're really so passionate that you actually go out of your way to start a thread on the internet, rather than contacting him directly and asking him about it, I would say the fail is on you for posting this useless thread to begin with. I mean dude...I'm sure you have a telephone you can use. The shop has a number. You can call him and talk about your problems in private rather than bringing it on the forum for everybody to see.
